To link your cartridges to your Design Space account, sign into Design Space and go to the hamburger menu in the upper left-hand corner. Click on Link Cartridges. Insert your physical cartridge into the slot in your machine, on the top left-hand side.

How do I transfer Cricut cartridges to design space?
Ensure your Cricut Explore machine (Air 2 or older) is powered on and connected to your computer via USB cable, or insert the Cartridge Adapter into a USB port on your computer. Select Link Cartridges from the Account Menu in the upper left corner of Design Space. Select your device from the drop-down menu.
What is the difference between Cricut Craft Room and design space?
Craft Room is the software that accompanies the Expression machines and the Mini. Compared to Design Space, it’s very limiting as it only lets you design using the images you already own from the Cricut cartridges. If that’s you, Cricut Craft Room should definitely cater to your needs.
Can you use old Cricut cartridges on Cricut maker?
